Importing By Air From Europe?

Exporting By Air To Europe?

Dear Customers and Friends of Seajet!

All of us have been listening to the news and seen it on TV and we know about the volcanic eruption in Iceland, which has caused havoc to all air traffic between Europe and the United States.

This has already lasted a week and the situation is only now improving, a little, hour by hour.

A lot of cargo has piled up on both sides of the Atlantic and, especially in Europe, it has been collecting dust (no pun intended!).

We have consulted with our colleagues in Europe and the consensus is, that it will take another 8-10 days, before air traffic will be back to normal!

This is bad news for many people but these are the facts. Aside from moving millions of people to where they where going before they learned about their cancelled flights, there is also a tremendous amount of cargo, which has accumulated and will be second in line, after passengers, who are being given first priority!

Unfortunately, we cannot offer you any alternatives. The best thing to do is to communicate closely with us about your pending import shipments, so that we can alert our colleagues in Europe.

For all your exports, it is equally important to let us know about them as soon as possible, so that we can try to secure space on the "first available flight".

Please feel free to contact us, if you have any questions or concerns!

Sincerely yours,

Ronald W. Hiemann, CEO
