Act Phase IV Implementation
Dear Customers and Friends of Seajet! The Lacey Act took effect on 15 December 2008 and we have since written about it several times to make you aware of these regulations. The last time we wrote and distributed an email message about the Lacey Act was in September of 2009. The "Highlights" of Phase IV refers to the following HTS headings. Chapter 44 (Wood and Articles of Wood) Chapter 66 (Umbrellas, Walking Sticks, Riding Crops) Chapter 82 (Tools and Implements) Chapter 92 (Musical Instruments) Chapter 93 (Arms and Ammunition) Chapter 94 (Furniture, Seats etc.) Chapter 95 (Toys, Games and Sporting Equipment) Chapter 97 (Works of Art) (Added: Sculptures) As government regulations go, the fine print contains much more detailed language, specifications and more information. Simply too much to list it here. We do recommend that you do your own research. You can start by reading our previous posts and attachments (links noted above).
