The Korea Trucker's Union
has called for a strike
effective from 11 June 2009

Dear Customers and Friends of Seajet:

Our Korean partner office in Seoul has informed us that the Korean Trucker's Union announced that they will go on a strike effective from June 11 2009.  Thus, they will have difficulties to arrange local transport and it will effect both export and import container moves, causing some delays!

They expect there will be not much delay for the first 10 days from now, as there are not that many containers piled up at Busan CY right now, due to the slow economy but once non-union truckers start joining the strike, they expect considerably more delays from that time onward..   

Please be guided, accordingly, and prepare for possible logistics delays for shipments from and to Korea.
