Dear Customers and Friends of Seajet!

As your logistics provider, freight forwarder and customs broker, we try hard to add value to our relationship by keeping you informed about some of the more important laws and regulations, which have an impact on your business.

For that reason, we have already sent 2 messages about the 2008 CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY IMPROVEMENT ACT because this new law contains very important regulations, which importers of consumer products must know about.

However, after having been contacted and asked for advice, we feel compelled to remind you, that nobody here at Seajet is an expert in matters relating to the CPSIA nor any other laws, nor are we attorneys, who can provide legal opinions.

As your customs broker, we can not provide you with legally binding advice because the subject matter is beyond the scope and knowledge of a customs broker.

The information we provide to you from time to time is information in the public domain, published in magazines, newspapers and on web sites. We try to provide such information to you as a value added service.

However, it is always up to you to verify and confirm, if such information pertains to your own business and how to implement it in your own business. Seajet can not be relied upon for binding legal advice! For that reason, we do urge you to obtain your own advice to assure that you are in compliance!

As regards the 2008 Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act, we would like to share some web links with you, which may be of interest and helpful, when you do your own research. These links are listed here below.
